remember, those are the areas just hit by sandy. a lot of the dunes and protection gone from the coast, so it allows the water to flow more freely inland. areas shaded in yellow, medium impact. areas in green there, lower impact. as you get toward western maryland, west central maryland and even areas of central virginia. so for right now, possibility of some isolated inland snow. some inland snow, isolated slick spots, perhaps even for thursday morning. coastal problems indeed. that is what we're looking at right now. if this storm system tracks more to the east, though, we could get nothing more than just some rain around here. as far as election day weather, we'll have more on that. right now, it doesn't look as though we'll have any worries coming up. we'll talk about how cold it will be tomorrow and how much wind will be around the area. and of course, we'll have much more on the impact of the midweek storm coming up in a couple of minutes. >>> it's the final day of campaigning before election day. both presidential candidates
